Global Financial Markets Forum 2014

4 - 5 March, 2014, Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Introduction

NBAD is extremely proud to once again host the Global Financial Markets Forum (GFMF), which has become the premier annual financial markets conference in the Middle East region. Having grown substantially since its inception five years ago, the GFMF now truly sets the benchmark by attracting world-class speakers and panellists, providing thought provoking and topical content, and offering a highly interactive forum with excellent networking opportunities – all set in one of the most unique and prestigious venues in the world, the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi.

The Forum has hosted highly distinguished speakers from around the world including Nicholas Sarkozy, James Baker, Axel Weber, Paul Volcker, and David Milliband among others, and attracted over 1300 delegates in February 2013.

Global Financial Markets Forum 2014 will take place on 4 - 5 March and will once again raise the bar in terms of content and the overall standard of the event. We are delighted to confirm Dr Ben Bernanke, Lawrence H. Summers, Jean-Claude Trichet, and Secretary James Baker as speakers for the Forum, to name just a few.

The event will also provide delegates with the opportunity to attend Investor Presentations from prominent corporate and financial entities in the West-East corridor and to interact with senior management of these entities. In addition, we are pleased to announce that the 2014 GFMF will also feature a state of the art ‘virtual’ conferencing facility, which will allow delegates from other parts of the world to attend the forum and benefit from the content in a highly sophisticated and interactive online platform. We invite you to find out more about this platform and watch a brief video about it on the relevant section of this website.

We are working towards making the 2014 Global Financial Markets Forum another landmark event and we hope to see you there.
